The FA Cup may be the only hope for Erik ten Hag's men to secure silverware, and that makes it that much more important to dodge an upset on Monday night. In the meantim4r7e, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

Young midfielder chase

United are said to be interested in Ecuadorian starlet Oscar Zambrano, who is currently playing for Universitaria Quito in the Ecuadorian top division. According to El Futbolero, Luton Town are stepping up their efforts to land the 19-year-old midfielder.

Though, United and Brighton are said to have tracked him for some time, and they could both make a move during this window, according to the report. It's claimed Zambrono's current club, commonly known as LDU, are hoping for a bidding war as they look to maximise their earnings.

Sancho hold-up

Jadon Sancho's move to Borussia Dortmund may not be moving quite as quickly as first through. Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday that the winger's return to Germany on loan was 'gathering pace' due to discussions between the two clubs.

But according to Sky Germany, there have been delays in the move due to struggles between the two teams to reach a comprehensive deal. Sancho is said to be keen to get the deal done both to leave United swiftly, and also to join up with Dortmund for their training camp, which is ongoing. The deal is expected to be a loan deal, but it is not clear whether there will be a purchase option.
