The coming months could prove to be pivotal for the Red Devils, who will be hoping to equip new manager Erik ten Hag with the tools he needs to get the club moving in the right direction again after a disappointing 2021/22 campaign.

With that in mind, here are a selection of the latest pieces of speculation doing the rounds at Old Trafford.

Dumfries on United radar

In recent days, Dumfries - who is said to be valued at around £26 million - has been considered as a potential option by Bayern Munich, but it is understood that the German side would be reluctant to meet Inter’s asking price.

The Mail suggest that Dumfries would prefer to stay at Inter or move to Old Trafford, with the presence of Ten Hag seen as a potentially decisive factor.
