It is set to be a busy first summer at Manchester United for the Ineos group as they look to overhaul the playing squad and forge a strong reputation in the transfer window.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe previously described the club as being the 'dumb money' in the transfer market and he will be eager to ensure they become well known for smart additions instead. Just this week, he reiterated a desire to uncover the next generation of superstars, with a focus on developing elite young talent rather than spending big on high-profile players.
A key part of this transfer strategy will be to target individuals who already have Premier League experience, in hope of ensuring they hit the ground running at Old Trafford and do not take a long time to adjust to their new environment.
United have already been linked with a host of Premier League players at this early stage of the year and there a number of compelling options available to them should they decide to go down that route.
We've taken a look at eight players United could poach from their domestic rivals this summer...

5. Pedro Neto
United are also keen to add another forward to their squad this summer, though it could well be in the shape of a versatile winger, rather than a striker. Neto is admired by most clubs at the top end of the Premier League and would be an exciting addition to just about any squad in the division. | Wolves via Getty Images Photo: Wolves via Getty Images

6. Michael Olise
Crystal Palace star Olise would fit the brief as an exciting Premier League player, though there are some concerns over his recent injury record. He has six goals and three assists from just 11 appearances so far this season, but the more relevant numbers are that he has now missed 20 matches from two separate hamstring injuries. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

7. Ollie Watkins
If it is goals you want, then look no further than Watkins. He is one of the leading strikers in the Premier League this season but would command a huge transfer fee, particularly if Aston Villa went on to finish above United this campaign. 8. Ivan Toney
The same can be said for Brentford talisman Toney. He is repaying the faith his club have shown in him after a difficult 12 months but could finally look to leave at the end of the season for pastures new. United wouldn't be the only top side interested in a deal, but yet again, he would cost a huge transfer fee and it would be hard to give both he and Rasmus Hojlund the playing time they command. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
