Manchester United are expected to keep themselves busy in 2025 when it comes to the transfer windows. With rumours already doing the rounds and Ruben Amorim reportedly eager to be reunited with some of his former players, the Red Devils could be in for some big changes next year.
Recent reports suggested that an attacking overhaul could be on the cards, as both Marcus Rashford and Ramus Højlund had come into the firing line. With the duo struggling for consistent form, a question mark started to form over their future at Old Trafford. However, Amorim has decided he wants to keep both attackers on the books.

With just 13 goals scored so far, the Reds are ahead of only Southampton, Crystal Palace and the Toffees in this area.
To help improve their threat in front of goal, United have been linked with some new options both up front and in midfield. One of the latest names to appear on the radar is PSV’s Malik Tillman. According to Sky Sport Germany, ‘several concrete enquiries’ have already come in for the midfielder, who impressed in his latest performance in the Champions League.
After going 2-0 down to Shakhtar Donetsk, the Dutch side pulled off a superb comeback in the final minutes of the game. Tillman scored a three-minute brace to force the scoreline equal before his teammate Ricardo Pepi netted the winner in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Tillman’s efforts in Europe take his tally to 12 goal contributions in 19 games so far this season. Last term, he notched nine goals and 15 assists in all competitions while playing as a left-winger, and in an attacking and central midfield role when required.

As a former Bayern Munich player, Tillman has a buyback option in his PSV contract but it is currently ‘considered unrealistic’ that he will return to his old club. Instead, the midfielder sees himself at an ‘ambitious top club’ in the long-term and reaching the Premier League is a ‘major goal’ of his.
