Erik ten Hag has been handed a fresh double injury blow ahead of Manchester United's trip to face Bournemouth in the Premier League today.
United are back in action when they make the trip to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening, but will head into the match without the services of both Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans. The defensive duo both missed the weekend draw with Liverpool through injury, though it was not until Thursday that an official update on their availability was issued by the club.
It means Ten Hag will be limited with the changes he could make to his side tonight, with Willy Kambwala and Harry Maguire expected to continue their partnership in central defence.
United's latest injury news adds to an extensive list of setbacks and here is everything you need to know ahead of the clash with Bournemouth...
1. Marcus Rashford - 13 April vs Bournemouth (A)
The England international returned to the line up against Liverpool but only lasted a little over an hour before he was replaced. Rashford played down fitness fears on social media this week and should be back in the squad today. Photo: Getty Images
2. Jonny Evans - 21 April vs Coventry (N)
Evans will be missing today after a 'shorter-term' muscle injury, so the hope is that he will be back fit for the FA Cup semi-final clash with Coventry in a week's time. Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images
3. Scott McTominay - 27 April vs Burnley (H)
The Scotland international was not involved against Liverpool and is expected to be out for a few weeks through a knee injury. The home clash with Burnley seems like a sensible timeframe. Photo: AFP via Getty Images
4. Raphael Varane - 6 May vs Crystal Palace (A)
Varane is aiming to be back in action before the end of the season after sustaining a muscle injury against Chelsea. It is suggested he will be out for 'a few weeks' with the Crystal Palace trip the earliest likely return date. Photo: Getty Images
