How much could United earn from Europa League win?
If the Red Devils manage to win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League, they would receive a much-needed financial boost, which Amorim could use for recruitment heading into next season.
According to The Athletic, United would get over £85 million from qualifying for the Champions League. That includes the £16m ‘starting fee’ that all clubs get for making the competition.
Furthermore, it takes into account the ‘value pillar’, which takes into account a club’s historic record in the Champions League - United have won the competition twice since it rebranded from the European Cup to the Champions League (1999 and 2008).

United could use £85m to sign talented trio this summer
The Red Devils are expected to have a busy transfer window as they aim to build a squad that’s capable of performing well in Amorim’s 3-4-3 formation.
If they do receive the £85m windfall from Champions League qualification, they could use it to buy three separate targets that they have been linked to in recent weeks, helping to improve the spine of Amorim’s team.
Firstly, they have been linked with Sporting CP centre-back Goncalo Inacio, who previously worked under Amorim. He is expected to command a transfer fee of around £39 million, despite having a £52m release clause.

Furthermore, Liam Delap from Ipswich Town has emerged as target for United, as the striker will have a £30m release clause in his contract assuming that the Tractor Boys face relegation to the Championship.
However, Delap has also been linked to Chelsea, and the two sides are set to battle for the 22-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in 31 Premier League games this season.
