There have been contrasting fortunes on either side of Manchester during the first two months of the Premier League season.
As it stands, Manchester City are well placed as they look to retain their Premier League title and were sat in second place when the second international break of the season arrived. Pep Guardiola’s men will resume their resume their league campaign next Sunday when they visit Wolverhampton Wanderers as they look to continue putting pressure on leaders Liverpool.
For cross-city rivals Manchester United, the season has been largely disappointing as speculation over Erik ten Hag’s future has continued following a run of just two wins in their opening seven league games. That has left the Red Devils sat in the lower half of the Premier League table as they prepare to return to action with a home game against Brentford on Saturday.
Despite their contrasting results, both sides have enjoyed sizeable home support during the opening two months of the campaign - but how do their average attendances compare to the biggest clubs across European football?
