Man Utd transfer news: Liverpool ‘eye’ swoop for Red Devils target, David de Gea makes contract revelation

All the latest transfer news from Manchester United and the Premier League.

Manchester United are set to host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon. The Red Devils could move into the top four with a win.

Erik ten Hag’s side look to have improved since a poor start that saw them fall to defeat to both Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford.

United certainly have a positive record against the Magpies, however Eddie Howe’s side head to Manchester off the back of scoring nine goals in two matches. The Tyneside club have only lost one league match since May.

While victory for the Red Devils could see them overtake Chelsea, a defeat would see Newcastle take their place in fifth.
