'Let's see' - Man Utd and Liverpool linked star goalkeeper drops hint on future amid transfer speculation

A report Manchester United target has responded to claims he could be on the move to the Premier League this summer.

A reported Manchester United target has responded to transfer links ahead of the summer window. The Red Devils are already being linked with a number of players ahead of the summer, with new co-owner Jim Ratcliffe expected to take a more measured approach to recruitment, signing players with potential to grow and become stars.

In previous year, United have brought the shiny new object, so to speak, and have been burned by a lack of return on their investments. Things look set to change under Ratcliffe, and reports claim the Red Devils are in the market for a new goalkeeper despite only signing Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir over the summer.

With Onana having been in good form, it's likely any goalkeeper signing would be to replace Tom Heaton, who may well depart the number three role this summer. Reports claim Ajax star Diant Ramaj could be a target, with the 22-year-old reportedly attracting attention from a number of clubs in England, including Liverpool.

Now, in an interview with Voetbal International, the young goalkeeper has responded to the interest. "I’ve heard that too, yes. I see things like that as feedback for my work here," he admitted. "I see the fact that big clubs are showing interest as a compliment. I will continue to work on everything, as I am doing now.

"I don’t let myself get carried away, I just stay calm and keep improving details. That’s all that’s in my head, I’m too busy for other things [like a transfer] – that’s work for my agents to deal with."

Asked if he would like the challenge of a different league with a higher standard, he replied: "I’m not afraid of anything, because I know what I can do. I just want to do my best here, let’s see what the future brings."
