The bold Jadon Sancho swap deal that would see Man United land a €35m 13-time league winner - opinion

Man United will see the return of Jadon Sancho after it was revealed earlier this week that Chelsea refused to pay the £25m obligation to buy the winger, meaning that he will come back to Old Trafford.
Sancho’s future at United is all but non-existent after he fell out of favour at the club over the past few seasons. He made 31 Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.

Manchester United could swap Jadon Sancho for Kingsley Coman
Seeing as Sancho’s deal to Chelsea would have been worth £25m, Man United could use his value elsewhere rather than selling the English winger. They could instead offer a swap deal with a winger that is available this summer.
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman is set to leave the German club according to Fabrizio Romano on X. He has said that Premier League clubs have been informed that the Frenchman is available, and so Man United could offer Sancho in exchange for him.

Coman made 41 appearances in all competitions for Vincent Kompany’s side this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. He is still an impactful player for the German club, and, aged just 28, Coman still has plenty left to give.

Plus, Sancho has experience playing in Germany thanks to his time at Borussia Dortmund, and so would likely be willing to head back to the Bundesliga, and he would also get Champions League football.
Man United would face competition for Kingsley Coman
A number of Premier League clubs have been linked to signing Coman this summer, including Arsenal and Newcastle United, as he will likely be regarded as a bargain, due to Bayern’s desire to sell him. Furthermore, Barcelona have been named by Romano as potential suitors, however, they are also keen to add Marcus Rashford and Liverpool winger Luis Diaz, and so could pursue either one of those instead.
There has also been strong links between Coman and a move to the Saudi Pro League, however, Man United could come in and make the case for the winger to remain in Europe and give himself a better shot at making the France national team for the 2026 World Cup.

He said in an interview with the Daily Mail last summer: “I want to win the World Cup because I missed it (through injury), so, I want something with the national team.”
Coman would also bring a winning mentality to the United dressing room. Despite being just 28, he has lifted 13 league titles in his career. The first two came with PSG as he made his debut for the club at 16. He then won a further two titles with Juventus and was part of seven-title winning sides at Bayern.
