Jadon Sancho remains frozen out by Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, and the situation could get interesting as the January transfer window approaches. Sancho arrived at Old Trafford surrounded by great hope, signing on a deal worth more than £70million in 2021, but it has been a tricky period of the winger so far.

January interest
Fabrizio Romano believes there may be interest in Sancho ahead of the January transfer window, but loan approaches are the most likely, and clubs are not likely to pay the winger's huge wages. "Understand Juventus asked for information on Jadon Sancho deal in recent days," Romano tweeted.
"He’s set to leave Man United in January, Juve are interested but only on loan plus part of salary covered by #MUFC. No negotiations yet as Man Utd prefer to wait for permanent deal bids."

Elsewhere, The Telegraph are reporting that there is likely to be interest in Sancho from Saudi Arabia in January amid Mo Salah and Son Heung-min being off the table. It's claimed Tottenham's Richarlison will also be a target.
Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq were reportedly interested in Sancho during the summer window, and they could return with a fresh bid this winter, according to reports. United are likely to be receptive of offers, and particularly ones from outside the Premier League.
'Up for sale'
United are expected to welcome fresh investment from Sir Jim Ratcliffe in the coming days, with the Brit set to purchase 25% of the club for £1.2billion. Whether Ratcliffe will get football control remains to be seen, but it's reported Ten Hag will be backed in January.
