Jadon Sancho January transfer: Sir Jim Ratcliffe view, Juventus bid plus Saudi Arabia 'interest' outlined

The latest news surrounding Jadon Sancho's situation at Manchester United as the winger remains frozen out.

Jadon Sancho remains frozen out by Erik ten Hag at Manchester United but the situation could be resolved one way or the other come January.

Sancho arrived at Old Trafford surrounded by great hope, signing on a deal worth more than £70million in 2021, but it has been a tricky period of the winger so far.

What is Sir Jim Ratcliffe's stance?

The Mirror recently reported "Sir Jim Ratcliffe will put himself on a collision course with manager Erik ten Hag if he tries to force the Dutchman to make his peace with Jadon Sancho."

It comes amid reports Ratcliffe doesn't want the £70m asset frozen out of the first team picture.

They add: "Ratcliffe’s agreement with the Glazer family is that he will take charge of football operations. But while Ten Hag feels he can work successfully with Ratcliffe’s INEOS team, he will not be dictated to when it comes to having his authority challenged in the dressing room."

Juventus interest ahead of January

Fabrizio Romano believes there may be interest in Sancho ahead of the January transfer window, but loan approaches are the most likely.

Earlier this month, he tweeted: "Understand Juventus asked for information on Jadon Sancho deal in recent days.

"He’s set to leave Man United in January, Juve are interested but only on loan plus part of salary covered by #MUFC. No negotiations yet as Man Utd prefer to wait for permanent deal bids."

Interest from Saudi Arabia

Elsewhere, The Telegraph are reporting that there is likely to be interest in Sancho from Saudi Arabia in January.

Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq were reportedly interested in Sancho during the summer window, and they could return with a fresh bid this winter, according to reports. United are likely to be receptive of offers, and particularly ones from outside the Premier League.
