All the latest news surrounding the Jadon Sancho situation at Manchester United.

The Jadon Sancho situation continues to make headlines after the Manchester United winger fell out with his manager. Sancho has been condemned to training away from his teammates after responding to criticism from Ten Hag after United’s defeat to Arsenal.

The winger responded to claims he was not performing in training by claiming he had ‘been made a scapegoat’. Ten Hag cast him aside as a result, continuing his ruthless approach to squad management. But the saga is far from over, and here we round up all the latest news surrounding it.

The meeting

After the fallout between Sancho and Ten Hag, the pair were said to have met at Carrington in a bid to resolve their differences. However, the meeting did not go as planned and the objective was not achieved. Sancho and Ten Hag are both said to have stuck to their guns, and the winger was told to train alone as a result. If anything, the meeting seems to have escalated the situation, with Sancho and Ten Hag now at loggerheads and refusing to budge.

Apology demand

After the meeting and the fallout, Ten Hag is said to have told Sancho that he will not rejoin the first-team group nor form part of his plans until he apologises. The Daily Star say Sancho is refusing to apologise to his head coach despite training alone, and he is said to be willing to wait it out even if he misses out on football in the meantime. United could now face a tricky situation, already short of depth on the wings due to Antony’s absence, while they have a £73million player training on his own and furious with Ten Hag.

Sale stance

The latest report claims United are willing to sell Sancho on the cheap in January in a bid to get him out of the club. It’s claimed the Red Devils are prepared to take a big loss on their £73million investment to cut ties with Sancho, who has not impressed since arriving.

The winger is disgruntled due to the recent fallout with Ten Hag, and it seems United may prioritise squad harmony over money, welcoming offers ahead of January. Whether anything will change between now and January remains to be seen, but the Daily Star say a sale is United’s priority as things stand.
