Manchester United will be looking to give their Champions League campaign a much-needed shot in the arm when they take on Galatasaray at Rams Park on Wednesday evening.

United have been decidedly below par in the Champions League so far this season, despite a strong showing last time out in the Premier League when they beat Everton by a score of 3-0 at Goodison Park. As things stand, they have won one, lost three and drawn none. One of their three defeats came against Galatasaray at Old Trafford - as such, the Red Devils will be out for revenge in the reverse fixture.

In that game, Rasmus Hojlund opened the scoring, only for former United player Wilfred Zaha to find an equaliser just six minutes later. Hojlund scored again in the second half, but United's gameplan swiftly unravelled when Casemiro was sent off.

Kerem Akturkoglu made the score 2-2 on the night, with Mauro Icardi missing a penalty just a few minutes later. He managed to spare his blushes, however, when he scored from open play just after this. United's 10 men couldn't find a response and they fell to defeat.

The Red Devils will be hoping for a much more positive outing this time around. If you'd like to watch this crucial Champions League crunch clash, here is everything that you will need to know.

What has manager Erik ten Hag said about the game?

Looking ahead to the fixture, Ten Hag said: "Last year, we couldn’t win away from home. It was an issue. This year we can’t win at home. We are confident. We know how to deal with it and we will be confident on the pitch. You have to stay calm in your head and don’t get too emotional. Don’t give them anything, or the referee as well.

"You have to stay away from such moments. We know how to deal with it. We will make a good plan but at the end of the day the players decide. They have to play the game."
