Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is waiting for news on Luke Shaw after the left-back was taken off during the first half of the Premier League win over Luton Town on Sunday.

The United boss told BBC Radio Five Live, when asked about the severity: "I can’t tell. We have to wait minimum until tomorrow to see what’s going on. Clear, when you come off, it doesn’t look great."

Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund insisted he meant to score his impressive second goal against Luton.

The 21-year-old’s brace ensured Manchester United secured a 2-1 victory at Kenilworth Road and made it four Premier League wins in a row as they hunt down a place in the Champions League.

Speaking after the game, Hojlund insisted the goal was no coincidence and that he meant to score with his chest. “Yeah, 100 percent. You can see I turned my body and flick it in,” United’s no.11 told Sky Sports
