The infamously addictive game returned on November 8th with it’s 2022 edition, taking an even deeper dive into the world of football management, adding a shiny new data hub and an improved match engine to its already extensive take on life in the dugout.
For a bit of fun, we've fired up the newly released productivity-devastator, and sent the game three years into the future to see how Manchester United line up on the first day of the 2024/25 season.
Take a look at how the game predicts United's matchday squad will look as the Reds prepare for a season opener against Tottenham Hotspur:

. RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Wan-Bissaka sometimes comes in for criticism from United fans in real life, but he's rode that storm and cemented his place by the time 2024 rolls around in game.

. DCR: Ronald Araujo
The promising Uruguayan is currently on the books at Barcelona, but United snapped him up in the summer of 2024 to replace an out-of-favour Harry Magurie.

. DCL: Raphael Varane
The Frenchman has made a decent start to life at Old Trafford for the most part, and he's clearly done enough in the virtual world to establish himself as a long-term fixture of United's side. (Photo by GLYN KIRK/AFP via Getty Images) Photo: GLYN KIRK
. LB: Luke Shaw
Much like Wan-Bissaka, Shaw has weathered some shaky form to hold down his spot in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans.

. MCR: Leon Goretzka
Another huge signing from Germany, Goretzka has been drafted in to help solve United's ongoing issues in the centre of midfield. How fans must wish they could snap up a player of his quality in real life.
