Manchester City and Manchester United remain among the biggest spenders in world football, but how does each of the clubs' wage bill compare to the rest of the Premier League? City have not been shy in spending under their current regime, achieving plenty of success thanks to a thorough and successful transfer model.

United have also spent significantly but with much less success, struggling to get it right on the transfer front - something they hope will change with the arrival of Jim Ratcliffe. In the meantime, we have put together a Premier League table based on the biggest wage bills across 2022 and 2023. Just note that because the figures, provided by Deloitte, span across two years, there are some clubs on the list who are no longer in the Premier League. Take a look below.
