According to The Telegraph's Tom Garry, Evans will join the Red Devils on July 1 and will offer squad competition as a left sided centre back as they look to build a squad ahead of their maiden campaign in the UEFA Women's Champions League,

Evans is expected to be one numerous players leaving the relegated Royals this summer after the club confirmed it would be moving to a part-time model following their demotion. Long serving manager Kelly Chambers confirmed her departure earlier this morning.

She was a key figure in the Reading side that finished in 8th position in the WSL in 2021/22 and has previously played for the likes of Bristol City and Yeovil. She has 45 caps for the Wales national team, where she plays alongside United midfielder Hayley Ladd.
