Gary Neville says Man United are "desperate" for £63m Marcus Rashford replacement

Manchester United’s season is riding on their Europa League final against Tottenham on Wednesday night in Bilbao, as it gives them a chance to secure Champions League football next season despite being 16th in the Premier League.
After the final, Ruben Amorim’s focus will be on the summer transfer window as he wants to improve his squad heading into next season.

Neville says United are “desperate” for Cunha
Matheus Cunha looks set to join United this summer, as the club are reportedly prepared to pay his release clause, which sits at around £63m. The clause was agreed when Cunha signed a new deal at Wolves in January following links to Arsenal.
However, it now looks as though a move to Old Trafford is the most likely for Cunha, who has impressed in the Premier League this season. The 25-year-old has made 34 appearances for Wolves this season, scoring 17 goals and providing six assists.
Former United defender Gary Neville has said that Cunha is exactly the sort of attacker that the Red Devils need to replace the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony who are all set to leave after going out on loan this season.

“They need someone who can beat players, they need someone who's equally as good running through the middle with the ball and travelling with the ball, and go out wide and support the wing-back. So he's [Cunha] a type of player that you could see Manchester United being interested in, that would suit this system that Ruben Amorim wants to play.”
If Cunha was to join at Old Trafford, he would likely play in one of the two number 10 roles that Amorim likes to play on either side behind a main striker, a position they are likely to improve too.
United could sign £30m striker alongside Cunha
If the Red Devils were to sign Cunha this summer, they will likely add a striker to play in front of him too after a poor season from both Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund, whose futures are uncertain.

Hide AdIpswich Town’s Liam Delap seems to be the frontrunner to join United. He has a £30m release clause in his contract at Portman Road after they suffered relegation back to the Championship.
Delap has scored 12 goals in 36 Premier League matches for Kieran McKenna’s side this season. Chelsea have also been linked to signing Delap this summer, but the most recent reports seem to have United as the more likely to land the 22-year-old Englishman.
