The latest episode of Football Talk is out after another hectic weekend of Premier League football.

ManchesterWorld’s Michael Plant was joined this week by Jason Jones of our sister site NationalWorld to discuss the top four and their contrasting fortunes over the past few days.

There was only one place to start, with Liverpool’s epic 2-2 draw against Manchester City. The guys analysed that match, Mohamed Salah’s solo goal, James Milner’s non-red card and Phil Foden’s outstanding showing.

Then they turn their attentions to Chelsea, who got back to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Southampton. Unlike at Anfield, this game did swing on a dismissal, while the pair also chat about Thomas Tuchel’s enviable squad depth.

Finally, it’s all eyes on Old Trafford, as Manchester United dropped points at home for the second week in a row. Michael, who was at the game, shares his views on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team selection, what cost them against Everton and explains why the next month is huge for the Red Devils.

Keep your eyes peeled for a bonus episode of Football Talk later this week, which will take a look at the clubs near the foot of the Premier League table.
