Fernandes role change, Cunha dropped: How Manchester United could line up under Oliver Glasner - gallery

Man Utd could hire Oliver Glasner as their new head coach to replace Ruben Amorim.

Oliver Glasner could be the dream candidate to takeover at Manchester United if they decide to replace Ruben Amorim during the coming months.

At the moment in time, United are still behind Amorim and believe he can turn his fortunes around, but pressure is mounting after a poor start to the new season. United have lost four of their seven matches across all competitions, with humbling defeats to both Grimsby Town and Brentford away from home.

If they fail to defeat Sunderland this week, United could reach the point of no return under Amorim just 11 months after he joined the club. In that case, Crystal Palace boss Glasner would be a candidate to strongly consider for the Old Trafford role.

He has transformed Palace with a high energy 3-4-2-1 approach, which might be the same on paper, but has a greater emphasis on aggressive, direct play and crosses into the opposition box. Here is how United could line up under him.
