A £25m fee for Jason Sancho is more than reasonable in the current transfer market, however, despite interest from Juventus, the England international has a problem if he wants to leave Old Trafford.

Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, has claimed that the winger had a decision to make:

“The real point, the real issue is that Juventus don't want to cover the whole salary of Jadon Sancho, that's going to be almost impossible. So a salary request change for Juventus-Sancho topic is going to be kind of complicated for the upcoming days and weeks. So let's see what happens with the salary, Juventus interest is confirmed, Juventus call are confirmed.”

How can United solve Sancho’s wage demands problem?

Sancho was Napoli’s first choice to solve their issues on the wing but have since turned to other targets for the same reason even if the Old Lady of Italy have deeper pockets than the Serie A champions.

Fenerbahce are spending big this summer to keep up with Galatasaray who signed Leroy Sane to strengthen their forward line, however, even they have baulked at the current wage demands of Sancho.

Details vary with the 25-year old’s pay packet at somewhere between £275,000 per week and £350,000 per week, the sort of figure that even the richest clubs are trying to avoid paying now.

Somewhere in the middle could be the solution. Juventus can afford more than most and if United can cover a percentage as well as Sancho taking a cut too, an agreement shouldn’t be out of the question.

Sancho is at the stage of his career where he needs to find a new home at a club that sets up to his benefits and how he plays. Somewhere he is valued and not just a stop-gap loan signing.

He isn’t quite in the last chance saloon, however, there is a feeling that clubs at the top end of European football will soon turn their back on a player who should have kicked o to the next level and be a key player for his country by now.
