Manchester United are in Champions League action on Wednesday night when they take on Copenhagen in a crucial clash away from home. The Red Devils are still looking up at the top two in their group, and they need three points in Denmark to go into the last two games with a good chance of progression.

Fortunately for Erik ten Hag's men, they head into the clash on the back of an important win to bounce back from back-to-back defeats, beating Fulham away from home last time out. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Old Trafford.

Romano's Antony belief

Fabrizio Romano believes United will not entertain any kind of deal involving Antony in the upcoming January window, with the Brazilian being linked with a move away on the back of a difficult start to life at Old Trafford.

“Understand Antony will not join Flamengo or any Brazilian club despite the recent rumours," Romano said on X. "That possibility is not even being considered. No loan deal, no plans to return to Brazil despite links with swap deal for Gabigol.”

Cole's Ten Hag claim

Joe Cole believes Ten Hag should be bold in his selection for the Copenhagen clash in a bid to save his job. He told the Daily Mail: "If I was Erik Ten Hag and had a situation where my job was on the line I would want to know, ‘Who is with me and who is against me. I’d identify the characters, not necessarily the quality of players, who are with me. Like Scott McTominay. Is he a better player than Bruno Fernandes or even Casemiro? Possibly not. But you have got to get a result - I would go with the players who are with me and the staff.

"You have to pick up on things. It might be a glance, it might be the body language, or their air in training. I would say, ‘You lot, get to the side - this is my Manchester United!’ If he wants to be a success, he needs to identify the players he can trust - and they might not be the best players. But he needs to identify the players who are going to sweat blood and tears to get a result."
