When is the Europa League semi-final draw? Who Man United will face in last four if they beat Lyon

Manchester United are hoping to keep their chances of silverware alive this season by beating Lyon to get through to the Europa League semi-finals.
The quarter-final tie is currently 2-2 after a dramatic first leg in France. Both of Lyon’s goals came after mistakes by United goalkeeper Andre Onana, sparking reports that the Red Devils are looking to replace the Cameroon international.

Ahead of the game, United boss Ruben Amorim said via the Manchester United website: “Get ready to give everything. That is my only message to everybody involved with Manchester United ahead of tonight’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final decider.
“Last Sunday, we were naturally disappointed by the nature of our Premier League defeat at Newcastle, but that is the past, and since Monday, we have focused entirely on what we need to do tonight.
“The tie is currently level, so we have to win to progress, and to do that we will have to play well against a strong opponent. We must play with our hearts and our heads, and that applies to the players, staff and supporters.

Who could Man United face in the Europa League semi-final
The draws for the quarter-finals and semi-finals were already made at the same time as the Round of 16 draw in February, meaning that the Red Devils already know their potential route to silverware in the Europa League.
United beat Real Sociedad in the Round of 16 and will face either Athletic Bilbao, who have beaten Rangers, in the semi-finals. Bilbao and Rangers couldn’t be split in their first leg at Ibrox Stadium, so they headed to Spain at 0-0 with all to play for. The Spanish club did have a goal disallowed and a penalty saved at Ibrox last week. However, in the second leg Athletic club scored through Oihan Sancet and Nico Williams to book their spot in the last four.
When and where is the Europa League final?
The final will take place on Wednesday, May 21, and is being held at Athletic Bilbao’s San Mames Stadium, meaning that Bilbao have a chance to play the final at home, should they overcome Rangers and one of Man United or Lyon.

The winner of that tie will play against either Tottenham Hotspur or Eintracht Frankfurt, who are drawing 2-2 after the first leg in North London, much like United and Lyon. United could face one of those four teams in the final, meaning that there is still a chance of an all-Premier League final in Bilbao.
