Ruud van Nistelrooy will take interim charge of Manchester United for the final time when they host Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Dutchman is unbeaten in his three matches in charge and will be looking to end his reign on a high before Ruben Amorim begins work as the new head coach next Monday.
Van Nistelrooy is expected to recall Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez in central defence, while Amad Diallo should keep his place in attack after his stellar showing against PAOK in midweek. Alejandro Garnacho, Diogo Dalot and Rasmus Hojlund would all be fortunate to keep their places in the line up after they struggled during the Europa League outing.
Here is how we think United should line up for the final time under Van Nistelrooy:

5. LB - Noussair Mazraoui
The only question is which side of defence Mazraoui will start on against Leicester. He has been United's best signing of the summer. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

6. CM - Manuel Ugarte
Ugarte has been inconsistent in a United shirt so far but needs regular game time ahead of Ruben Amorim's arrival. | Manchester United via Getty Images Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images

7. CM - Christian Eriksen
United will need extra creativity to breakdown Leicester from the start, so Eriksen should be recalled to the starting line up. | Manchester United via Getty Images Photo: Manchester United via Getty Images

8. CAM - Bruno Fernandes
Fernandes is a certainty to start whenever he is fit and played well against PAOK on Thursday night. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
