Erik ten Haag has been unveiled as the next permanent Manchester United manager today, taking over from interim boss Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.
Club bosses confirmed the announcement on Thursday morning in a deal that takes the Dutchman into 2025, with a chance to extend by a year.
That means that the 52-year old could set his sights on some of the star players who worked under him at the Johan Cruijff Arena to boost the first team picture at Old Trafford.
However, there are still several names who have been linked with moves to the Red Devils over the past few months and the two time Eredivise winner may very well have an interest in them too.
The names mentioned include multiple England internationals, several of European football’s most highly rated prospects and a few global superstars to boot.
United could look to raid their Premier League rivals for new recruits or could cast their net further afield in the search to solve some crucial deficiencies in the current squad.
