Manchester United now turn their attention to the Europa League after defeating Everton over the weekend.

The Red Devils secured all three points in relatively comfortable fashion against the Toffees, and they remain three points ahead of Tottenham with a game in hand still to play. For now, though, they must concentrate on European football, taking on a struggling Sevilla side in the Europa League at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

As preparations ramp up for that one, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

Frimpong update

Fabrizio Romano has issued an update amid United’s reported pursuit of Jeremie Frimpong.

“Man Utd have confirmed their interest in the player. They’ve sent their scouts multiple times to follow Jeremie Frimpong who’s doing very well with Bayer Leverkusen,” he told The United Stand.

“They feel he has different skills than the other right-backs they have in the squad and this is why they are monitoring him. He’s very young, he would love to move to the Premier League – this is an important point. So Frimpong would give priority to Manchester United and the Premier League in general.

“This is why for Manchester United it could be an opportunity. The meeting was positive. It’s one of the names they have on their list. For sure the player would be happy about the move. Now it’s on United to see if they will receive a proposal for [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka. My feeling is if a bid comes in for Wan-Bissaka there is a concrete possibility of him leaving and for United to go for Frimpong.”

Wan-Bissaka ‘decision’

Amid that reported chase for a full-back, Erik ten Hag has reportedly told Aaron Wan-Bissaka he can leave this summer.

According to Football Insider, Wan-Bissaka has been told he can move on this summer despite improving significantly under Ten Hag this summer. It is no secret that Ten Hag does want to strengthen at right-back, and Wan-Bissaka could pay the price for that.

The question will be, however, how much United can get for the London-born star this summer.
