Eric Cantona gives verdict on Sir Jim Ratcliffe and hints at possible Manchester United return
Eric Cantona has dismissed the possibility of becoming the next Manchester United manager but has hinted he could be prepared to return to the club in another role.
The 57-year-old previously revealed that he offered United his services as their inaugural 'president of football' back in 2021, but was turned down by his former club.

The British billionaire named 'The King' as his favourite ever United player and Cantona has hinted that he could be prepared to return to Old Trafford if the right opportunity arose.
"I am involved in too many things I really love to be manager," he told Big Issue. "In everything I do I work hard to give 100% so that I am able to have the confidence and to enjoy. So I don’t have the time to be manager. But maybe something else…
"For sure with Jim Ratcliffe I think we come back as the best. The way you drive the club is important. Ratcliffe, who is a fan of United since ever, is a great businessman of course, but is also very passionate about sport. He had great experience of sport at Nice while he was president. And I think he had the right idea. Then the manager can work in good vibes and good environment."
