Winger wanted

United winger Facundo Pellistri is reportedly on the radar of Watford. The 21-year-old, who was at the World Cup last month with Uruguay, has spent time out on loan at Alaves in Spain over the past couple of seasons to get some experience under his belt. The Telegraph now claim the Hornets are ‘hoping’ to bring him in on a temporary basis until the end of the season.

Striker latest

Barnsley boss Michael Duff has seemingly cooled speculation that the Tykes are interested in striker Charlie McNeill. The 19-year-old has risen up through the youth ranks at Old Trafford and is being linked with a loan exit in this Janaury transfer window. However, as per BBC Sheffield reporter Andy Giddings on Twitter, a switch to Oakwell may be off the cards for him.

Balance the books

United apparently may have to offload some players before they are able to splash the cash again. That’s according to a report by The Telegraph, who claim the club need to ‘sell well’ in order to pave the way for big money additions. Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Fred and Donny van Beek have been mentioned as individuals who could be given the chop.
