Manchester United have just two weeks to complete any of their planned January transfer business before the window shuts at the end of the month. So far, the focus at Old Trafford has been on departures with Donny van de Beek, Jadon Sancho and Hannibal Mejbri all leaving the club on loan.
United boss Erik ten Hag has admitted business is unlikely this month, unless the right deal presents itself. He said in December: “As a club, you have to look for improvements, so if you can find better and it’s realistic financially and with financial fair play, I think the club has to go with it. But realistically, in relation to the market, most of the time you don’t attract the best players in the winter. The top, top players will not leave their clubs in the winter. It’s players who are disappointed, injured or just not the right fit or whatever.”

1. Joao Neves to Manchester United
United had been linked with the 19-year-old defensive midfielder ahead of the window but Benfica released a statement on Tuesday denying talks were taking place between the clubs
2. Kalvin Phillips to Crystal Palace
The midfielder looks set to leave Man City but both Juventus and Newcastle have reportedly pulled out of a deal due to the cost of the loan fee. Crystal Palace have been linked with Roy Hodgson stating on Tuesday he can offer Phillips guaranteed minutes.
3. Facundo Pellistri to Granada
The La Liga side are one club said to be in discussions with United over a loan move for the winger. PSV have also been linked.
4. Sergio Reguilon to Brentford
The defender left United to return to Tottenham earlier this month and recent reports claim a loan move has now been agreed with Brentford, although the defender has not made a final decision.
