The end of the transfer window was an extremely busy affair for both Manchester United and Manchester City.

Between the two clubs, a remarkable 15 transfers were completed on deadline day, with five arrivals and 10 departures.

For United, they approached Friday knowing a goalkeeper, left-back and midfielder were all possibilities additions. The Red Devils managed to wrap up deals in all three positions, adding to the previous signings of Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Ramsus Hojlund this summer.

On deadline day, United’s first arrival was confirmed at 9am and the final departure was confirmed after the 11pm window had shut.
