De Ligt, Dalot, Heaven - Manchester United injury news and return dates vs Athletic Club
The latest Man Utd injury news and return dates ahead of the Europa League semi-final second leg.
Manchester United have been handed a fresh injury setback ahead of their Europa League semi-final second leg against Athletic Club. United already have one foot in the final, but won't take any chances with their team selection for the decisive clash at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim made eight changes to his starting line up against Brentford at the weekend and is expected to revert to the same side that won 3-0 in Bilbao a week ago. Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes and Rasmus Hojlund were all rested for the recent defeat to Brentford and should be fit enough to start on Thursday night.
It is not all good news for United though, with key defender Matthijs de Ligt ruled out of the clash after he limped out of their weekend defeat. The Dutch defender lasted 35 minutes when he went down injured after a collision with Bryan Mbeumo in the build-up to Brentford's second goal. Here is all the latest injury news for the match.
