Manchester United are expected to accelerate their summer transfer plans once Dan Ashworth arrives at the club.
After months of protracted talks, United are understood to have finally agreed a deal with Newcastle for the sporting director, who will be free to join immediately when the fee is paid.
United had initially feared they would be without Ashworth for much of the window, but the positive development is set to give them the best part of two months with him in the role.
Ashworth's arrival could have a significant impact on United's summer plans, with the club looking to add a centre-back, defensive midfielder and striker to their squad the very least.
With that all in mind, here is how United could line up next season if Ashworth's influence is felt this summer.
