Fabrizio Romano believes Marcus Rashford could leave Manchester United in the January transfer window after he revealed he is 'ready for a new challenge.'
The 27-year-old has struggled for form all season and is considering his Old Trafford future after two decades at his boyhood club. Rashford was omitted from the United squad for the Manchester derby win over Man City, though Ruben Amorim is adamant his exclusion was not down to a disciplinary issue.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano issued an update on the forward's future and revealed he has always dreamed of playing in La Liga. "Manchester United feel it could be time to part ways with Marcus Rashford in January or the summer. Rashford’s dream is to play in Spain," he said.
Earlier in the day, head coach Amorim issued an update on Rashford's future and reiterated his desire was for the forward to remain at the club going forward. “I think he is right,” Amorim said at his pre-match press conference. “We have here a new challenge, it a tough one. For me, it is the biggest challenge in football, because we are in a difficult situation. This is one of the biggest clubs in the world, so this is really a new challenge, and the biggest one. I hope all my players are ready for this challenge.”
