Marseille not in for Ronaldo
Marseille have not opened talks to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from United, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been linked with a move to the Ligue 1 outfit in recent days, but Romano has sought to clear up any doubt surrounding the player’s current situation.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, he said:“I want to clarify the Marseille rumours in France.

“It’s also important to say that the Marseille president is angry and sad with those rumours.”
Trapp snubs United
Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has turned down an offer from United, according to the player himself.
The Red Devils are in the market for a second-choice stopper, but the 32-year-old has denied that he will be making a move to Old Trafford.

“Manchester United is a world club. I hope everyone can understand that I am dealing with such an offer and thinking about it.

“I experienced sensational things here with Eintracht and we made history together. The start of the season was bumpy, but I have absolute confidence in us.”
