Hide AdRudiger joined the Blues on a five-year contract from Roma for £29m in 2017 and has made 47 appearances in all competitions for Thomas Tuchel’s side, scoring five goals and assisting his teammates on four occasions.
The centre-back has been linked with a move to United since the January transfer window, but has rejected a move to Old Trafford, according to Christian Folk.
Folk claims that Rudiger has turned down the Red Devils ‘out of respect for Chelsea’ - despite an offer of €10m per year.
The journalist adds that an agreement between the centre-back and Real is ‘expected in the next week’.

Hide AdFolk’s report isn’t the only one suggesting Rudiger has chosen Los Blancos over United this summer with Fabrizio Romano claiming a ‘verbal agreement’ has been reached between Rudiger and the La Liga club.
Romano added a contract between both parties is yet to be signed, but Real are close to signing the centre-back on a ‘long-term deal’.
The Italian journalist tweeted: “Real Madrid have reached verbal agreement with Antonio Rüdiger. Contract not signed yet - but Real Madrid are now closing on Rudiger deal on a free: here we go soon!
“It’s gonna be a long-term deal. Final details to be discussed soon, before signing the contract.”

Hide AdUnited have appointed Erik ten Hag as their next permanent manager with the Dutchman taking over at the end of the season.
The 52-year-old is expected to make significant changes to the club’s squad, but will now have to look for alternatives in the centre-back position this summer.
