Cavani & Henderson not included in United squad travelling to Switzerland
Edinson Cavani has not been included in the traveling party for Manchester United’s Champions League clash with Young Boys.
The Red Devils take on the Swiss side on Tuesday night, and will travel to Bern on Monday.

Hide AdAhead of the trip, the Red Devils confirmed their squad which was missing Cavani, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealing at the weekend that the Uruguayan has picked up a knock and will be missing for ‘a week or so’.
Dean Henderson, who is still recovering from the long-term effects of Covid-19 is also absent and, like Cavani, missed the weekend win over Newcastle United.
However, the goalkeeper was instead in action for the Under-23s side who lost 3-1 away to Arsenal’s underage team. Henderson has been replaced in the 22-man party travelling to Switzerland by youngster Matej Kovar, while Anthony Elanga has also been included.
Man of the moment Cristiano Ronaldo is unsurprisingly involved as well, and he’ll be looking to add to his two goals from the weekend victory over Newcastle.

Tuesday’s game kicks off at 5:45pm (UK time) and is following by Villarreal v Atalanta a few hours later, both of whom are also in United’s group.
