Ralf Rangnick’s side has been training hard ahead of the game and are looking to bounce back from their fourth round FA Cup exit to Middlesbrough on Friday.
Ahead of tonight’s game, let’s take a look at three things we spotted during Red Devils training this week.
Lingard, Cavani and Lindelof return
Jesse Lingard, Edinson Cavani and Victor Lindelof returned to training this week after the former was given time off due to personal reasons. The Englishman was heavily linked with a departure from Old Trafford during the January transfer window, but a move didn’t materialise.

Trio passed fit to play
Jason Sancho, Bruno Fernandes and Raphael Varane have all trained ahead of Tuesday’s fixture. The trio were taken off during United’s defeat to Middlesbrough, with Red Devils’ midfield duo recovering from knocks, while the latter was withdrawn in extra-time, but has passed fit to face Burnley.
Young guns in contention
Anthony Elanga, Hannibal Mejbri and Matej Kovar have been training with the first team this season and could be in contention for minutes on Tuesday, though the latter’s chances are minimal.
