Manchester United could still sign three players in the final weeks of the summer transfer window as they close in on a deal for RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko. Ruben Amorim prioritised the addition of a striker to his side in the final month of the window, with the 22-year-old identified as the club's new top target for the role.
Sesko has already agreed personal terms on his proposed move to Old Trafford after he informed Leipzig he would rather move to Manchester than Newcastle this summer. United are confident they can finance a move for Sesko without player sales, though any additional business will likely require significant outgoings.
United are yet to sell anyone this summer and will certainly need to do so if they are to sign Brighton star Carlos Baleba, who has been identified as a top midfield target. Amorim would also like to sign a new goalkeeper if possible, with United more likely to replace Altay Bayindir rather than Andre Onana.
Here is a look at what United's dream end to the summer window could look like:

5. Tyrell Malacia - SOLD
Malacia was deemed surplus to requirements at the start of the summer window but has yet to secure a move. The preference would be for a permanent exit. | Manchester United via Getty Images

6. Alejandro Garnacho - SOLD
United are confident they will sell Garnacho before deadline day and Chelsea are set to make a late move for the Argentine. | Manchester United via Getty Images

7. Carlos Baleba - SIGNED
United would love to sign an elite midfielder in the final month of the window and have made initial enquiries over a move for Baleba. This one if viewed as unlikely. | Getty Images

8. Jadon Sancho - SOLD
United want to sell Sancho this summer but there is nothing imminent regarding his future. He could leave on another loan deal if nothing is organised. | Getty Images
