Two players who have both been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks apparently ‘want to sign’ for the Red Devils which will certainly make a deal easier if they do decide to make a move. Elsewhere, ten Hag is reportedly said to be ‘blocking’ the exit of one current first team player who he wants to keep at the club for next season. Here are the latest Manchester United transfer news stories on Saturday, June 10:

Atlanta striker and Monaco defender ‘want to sign’ for Man Utd

Per a report from the Daily Mail, Manchester United have reportedly been told that both striker Rasmus Hojlund and defender Axel Disasi want to sign for the club this summer. Both players are thought to be of interest to the Red Devils but are only said to be part of a shortlist of potential signings in their respective positions.

Atalants forward Hojlund is said to be available for a fee of £43 million after just one season in Serie A with the 20-year old Dane having netted 10 goals in 34 appearances across all competitions. Meanwhile, Monaco defender Disasi is a French international and is also thought to be keen but the article states that United’s budget to sign players in his position is ‘low’ with strikers their priority.

Erik ten Hag to ‘block’ defender’s departure to Bundesliga
