Manchester United forward Antony has named his best starting line-up made of players he has played with at club level. The Brazilian named four of his current team-mates in the star-studded XI, as well as one ex-United player.

While in Qatar for the World Cup, Brazilian outlet Globo asked several of Tite’s squad to name their best XI and Antony has certainly played with a talented bunch of footballers.

The attacker named David De Gea in between the sticks, as well as Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez as his centre-back pairing - with the latter also playing alongside Antony during his time with Ajax. Sao Paulo full-backs - Igor Vinicius and Reinaldo - make up the rest of his defence.

Casemiro is the only United star to make up Antony’s midfield, having already known the Brazilian since making his international debut last October. Joining Casemiro is Tche Tche, who spent a year with Antony at Sao Paulo before his move to Ajax, as well as Dusan Tadic and David Neres from his time in Amsterdam.

Antony’s attack is made up of two football icons, with Cristiano Ronaldo probably being the most predictable of any player in the team. Despite the 37-year-old’s struggles at Old Trafford this season, the pair have featured together on a number of occasions and he has clearly had a positive impact on the winger’s time. Ronaldo partners Alexandre Pato up top, who spent 17 months with Sao Paulo - scoring nine goals in all competitions.

Antony’s XI: De Gea, Vinicius, Varane, Martinez, Reinaldo, Casemiro, Tche Tche, Tadic, Neres, Pato, Ronaldo.
