Antony and Casemiro start, Rashford returns - Manchester United predicted line up vs Newcastle
The Man Utd predicted XI vs Newcastle in the Premier League fixture on Monday night.
Ruben Amorim will be forced to make at least two changes to his starting line up when Manchester United host Newcastle in the Premier League on Monday night.
After their 2-0 defeat to Wolves on Boxing Day, United go into the match on the back of a three match losing streak. To make matters even worse, they will also be without the suspended Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte as well after their respective disciplinary issues in the latest loss.
Even after conceding directly from a corner, Andre Onana is expected to keep his starting place in goal given the lack of credible competition at the club. Leny Yoro is one of those who could drop out of the starting line up, with Matthijs de Ligt in contention to start after his recent return from illness.
Diogo Dalot was improved against Wolves and should occupy one of the wing-back roles, while Noussair Mazraoui should also keep his place from the start. Casemiro is the most likely partner for Kobbie Mainoo in midfield given the lack of options available to Amorim.
It wouldn't be a surprise if there are changes in attack and both Alejandro Garnacho could both be handed starts after they performed well from the bench at Molineux. Rasmus Hojlund is still the best striker option at the club despite his anonymous display against Wolves.
Manchester United predicted XI vs Newcastle: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez; Amad, Mainoo, Casemiro, Dalot; Antony, Garnacho, Hojlund.
