Manchester United fans are already talking about new signings in the January transfer window, but there is plenty of contract business for the club to take care of. The Red Devils have a number of contracts that are set to expire this summer, and there are also plenty of deals up next summer.
For those out of contract this summer, there is the option of agreeing a pre-contract agreement with a club outside of England. That option opened up from January 1, and it will remain open until either a new contract is agreed or, in some cases, until United automatically trigger a year extension, which was done recently with Victor Lindelof. Here we take a look at all of the players who are out of terms this summer and next.
1. Aaron Wan-Bissaka
United do have an automatic extension option, but Wan-Bissaka could opt to seal a move with a pre-contract agreement before that is activated. That option remains open to all of the players on this list during the January before their contract expires.
2. Anthony Martial
Martial is in the same situation.
3. Hannibal Mejbri
IUnited also have a year to add on if they wish with Hannibal.
4. Jonny Evans
There is no option to automatically extend Evans' deal.
