A big summer awaits Erik ten Hag and Manchester United after a hugely disappointing Premier League season of last. Ten Hag has managed to keep his job despite overseeing a big step back in the league and European campaign just gone, although he did collect the FA Cup after stunning local rivals Manchester City at Wembley last month.
The club’s bosses will be acutely aware that new signings will be needed this summer to improve the quality of the squad, but exits will be just as important in a bid to raise spending money. With that in mind, we have taken a look at some of the players who will stay and others who are more likely to leave Old Trafford this summer.

9. Scott McTominay
Leave - McTominay had a fine season in the United midfield, and had it not been for him, United would have been far worse off. But the Red Devils may need cash if they are going to spend, and the Scot is valuable. | Manchester United via Getty Imag

10. Mason Greenwood
Leave - Greenwood will be a PR disaster for United if he is kept given his previous legal issues. After a good season with Getafe, he can raise money for the Red Devils this summer. | Getty Images

11. Jadon Sancho
Leave - Sancho is another who does not seem to have a future. He still has not made up with Erik ten Hag after their falling out, and that is not likely to change. | Getty Images

12. Antony
Leave - Antony required a big investment and this would be a risky time to sell for United given they would almost certainly have to swallow a loss. An exit seems unlikely, but the club may field offers to see what they can get if they decide to give up on the winger. | AFP via Getty Images
