Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has come under scrutiny after his performance for England against Germany.

The centre-back endured an uncomfortable evening at Wembley and made a couple of mistakes as the opponents fought back to draw 3-3.

United forked out a hefty fee to lure him to Old Trafford from fellow Premier League club Leicester City back in the summer of 2019 and he became the most expensive defender in the world.

He has since made 149 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions and has chipped in with seven goals from the back.

Prior to his move to the North West, Maguire had also previously had spells at Sheffield United and Hull City and was a hit with the Yorkshire pair.
