Manchester United tipped to land £60 million rated midfield star in bold quadruple transfer raid

Interim head coach Ralf Rangnick could have a hand in leaving a lasting mark on the first team at Old Trafford as the club eye a quartet of promising young talents from the German Bundesliga.

Manchester United always seem to dominate the transfer gossip columns in England and things have been no different heading towards January 2022.

The Red Devils have been linked with countless players over the past six months, including many players who have already established themselves as mega-stars in world football.

However, a recent report has suggested that interim head-coach Ralf Rangnick could be set to look towards the future, rather than the present, with the signings of FOUR highly rated young talents from the Bundesliga.

One of the most sought after young players in the game, who is already rated at £60 million and has four caps for the German men’s national team despite only being 18, leads the list.

Meanwhile, three Germany Under-21 internationals are said to make up the four man list that United could move for.

Here is everything you need to know:

At the age of 18, he has already made 67 first team appearances for Bayern Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and Europa League while also winning four senior caps for Germany.

The attacking midfielder has netted eight goals in 21 games for Die Werkself this season, including a run which saw him net five goals in five consecutive matches in the month of September.

United will likely face competition to land the wonder-kid with Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also having been linked in previous months.

Since breaking into the team in 2018-19 season, the Germany Under-21 international made 48 appearances in all competitions and helped Die Unabsteigbaren lift the second tier title last season.

Now aged 20, the son of former Cameroon international Cyrille Florent Bella has made 10 Bundesliga appearances this season.

This is not the first time a Premier League side has reportedly shown interest in Bella-Kotchap, with Chelsea having been linked with a move last year.

Borussia Mönchengladbach full back Luca Netz is far less established than Wirtz and Bella-Kotchap, but still comes very highly rated.

Despite being only 18-years old, Netz has already won three caps for Germany Under-21s and played for two sides in the Bundesliga.

Begining his senior career with Hertha BSC, Netz made 11 first team appearances and scored one goal before joining Mönchengladbach earlier this year.

However, the two times capped Germany Under-21 international is not short on first team experience, having featured heavily for his loan club.

Martel initially joined Wien in January 2021, playing 21 times and scoring one goal as Die Veilchen finished seventh in the Austrian Bundesliga.

His loan continued into the 2021/22 campaign where he has played 20 times and scored one goal.
