

Women’s Euros: The 9 Man City and Man Utd players expected to feature in England vs Sweden
England will be hoping to reach their third-ever Euros final when they take on Sweden in the semi-final at Bramall Lane on Tuesday.
England will travel to Bramall Lane to take on Sweden in the semi-final of the Women’s Euros on Tuesday, with Sarina Wiegman side undefeated in the competition so far - kick-off is 8pm.
The Lionesses, who beat Spain in the last-eight to reach this stage of the Euros, have named an unchanged starting XI in their four games thus far with Manchester City and Manchester United players featuring heavily.
Tuesday’s clash with Sweden in Sheffield will arguably be their toughest of the competition so far. Peter Gerhardsson’s team are the second-highest ranked nation in the world and are also undefeated.
England fell to defeat to the Netherlands in their last semi-final in the competition in 2017, but will be hoping to put the disappointment behind them this time out.
With that being said, let’s take a look at which City and United players are expected to feature in Tuesday’s clash with Sweden.

The United goalkeeper has been Wiegman’s first choice between the sticks during the competition, conceding just once.

2. Keira Walsh
The City midfielder has been one of England’s unsung heroes in the competition so far and is expected to start in a midfield three again.

3. Ellen White
The City forward has scored two goals so far in the competition and sits just two away from breaking Wayne Rooney’s record as England’s all-time leading scorer.

4. Lauren Hemp
The City winger has been dangerous for the Lionesses down the left, scoring once and providing the same number of assists.
