Manchester City will travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United on Sunday in their first Premier League fixture of the new season.
The Sky Blues will be looking to begin the campaign well under Pep Guardiola with the club looking to regain the title for a third consecutive season - an accomplishment only their cross-town rivals Manchester United have done before.

Guardiola’s side has seen several incomings and outgoings during the transfer window. Most notably the arrival of prolific striker Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, while Raheem Sterling has departed for Chelsea.
Haaland is amongst three new signings at the Etihad Stadium this summer, with Kalvin Phillips also arriving from Leeds United, while Stefan Ortega Moreno joined on a free transfer from Arminia Bielefeld.

The Sky Blues have played the Hammers 42 times in the Premier League, winning 25 of their previous meetings, while West Ham have won nine and honours have been even on eight occasions.

As for West Ham, David Moyes revealed on Friday that Angelo Ogbonna and Gianluca Scamacca will be missing, but failed to expand on a number of others who he expects to be absent.
