The staggering amount Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool & Chelsea received in Premier League TV money

This is how much Manchester City and Manchester United are set to earn from Premier League TV money from the 2021/22 season.

Manchester City and Manchester United are set to earn a considerable amount of Premier League TV money from the 2021/22 season.

Pep Guardiola guided the Sky Blues to a second consecutive league title, while the Red Devils had a more forgettable campaign, finishing sixth.

City narrowly lifted their sixth Premier League trophy, beating Liverpool to the title by just one point after going unbeaten in their last 12 games.

However, their cross-town rivals United had a season to forget with the club securing 58 points - their worst tally in the competition.

The Sky Blues are believed to have earned £44m alone from finishing top of the table, while the Red Devils pocketed £33m - but that is without other prize money.

Here, courtesy of finance expert Kieran Maguire, ManchesterWorld takes a look at how much both Manchester clubs are set to get from Premier League TV money - compared to their top-flight rivals.

Note: For the domestic broadcast deal, 50% of the sum is split evenly, 25% based on ‘facility’, i.e number of times the club is selected for live TV and 25% on final league position.
