The constantly growing popularity of Premier League football has left many clubs looking at new ways to expand and rebuild their stadiums to welcome more fans on a match day.

Getting a ticket to a top-flight match can be a battle at stadiums across the country with thousands of fans unable to get to a game every weekend, despite the cost of living crisis.

Earlier this week Manchester City unveiled dramatic plans to rejuvenate the Etihad Stadium with not only an expansion but a desire to become an educational, business and hospitality hub of the North West.

Elsewhere, building work is ongoing at Anfield, the New Everton Stadium and Craven Cottage whilst the Newcastle United owners have just bought back the Strawberry Place land outside St James' Park in a major coup.
